Clinical Work
I received rigorous training to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in various settings: outpatient, inpatient units, intensive outpatient treatment programs within hospitals, academic medical centers, and university clinics.

My theoretical orientation is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), informed by ecological systems and theories of developmental psychopathology. Broadly, my approach to treatment emphasizes flexibility within fidelity, prioritizing patient-centered care, and a commitment to cultural humility

Clinical skills:
-
Specialize in treating anxiety, OCD, depression, and its related disorders
-
Experienced in working with children, adolescents, parents, and families
-
Proficient in suicide risk assessment, counseling, and safety planning
-
Experience with collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. physicians, schools, social workers, etc.)

My Positionality
I am a Korean-Amerian, first-generation immigrant. I fluently speak both English and Korean. However, my cultural identity has shifted several times over my lifetime which has helped me see the importance of a nuanced understanding of people's culture and identity in engaging in clinical work. While I can't be a clinician who directly understands the experience of every identity, I am committed to a lifetime of learning and practicing cultural humility.
